About iPRIS
iPRIS is an innovative project focused on enhancing digital connectivity in sub-Saharan Africa to drive social and economic prosperity. Through its ICT Policy & Regulation – Institutional Strengthening program, iPRIS is dedicated to boosting the capacities of African telecommunications regulatory bodies in 43 countries. The project aims to improve inclusive digital connectivity by providing peer-to-peer capacity-building for African National Regulatory Authorities and Regional Regulatory Organisations.
Recognizing the importance of ICT policies and regulations, iPRIS focuses on promoting digital inclusion, equitable access to the Internet, consumer rights protection, and personal data safeguarding. Funded by the European Union, Sweden, and Luxembourg, iPRIS collaborates with various partners to empower telecom regulators across Sub-Saharan Africa, shaping and implementing regulatory frameworks in the telecommunications sector.
