International Politics and Society (IPS) is a reputable online journal that focuses on global inequality and offers fresh perspectives on a range of topics, including the environment, European integration, international relations, social democracy, and development policy. Launched in January 2017, IPS aims to foster a global audience and amplify voices from the Global South, while being based in the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung's Brussels office. The magazine brings together leading journalists, academics, politicians, and policy officers from the FES's global network to contribute diverse perspectives.

With a sister publication, Internationale Politik und Gesellschaft (IPG), in Berlin, IPS has built its expertise in German foreign policy, security policy, overseas development, and international relations for over 50 years. The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung is a non-profit foundation dedicated to socio-political and economic development through civic education, research, and international cooperation, with roots dating back to 1925.
