– IPZV Mitteldeutschland

IPZV Landesverband Mitteldeutschland e.V. is the regional association for Icelandic horse riders and breeders in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Thuringia. It brings together nine local clubs and 319 members, supporting an active community around Icelandic horses. The association helps coordinate regional opportunities for sport, leisure riding, youth, and breeding, and publishes schedules of courses, breeder events, and other activities it organizes. Its calendar highlights events for 2026, including a foal tour and meetings for breeders and people interested in breeding.

The association also connects members with equestrian expertise in the region. Its area has eight trainers with current IPZV licences, as well as judges, API examiners and course leaders, and breeding specialists. Information about the regional clubs, facilities, and area is available through the association’s website, including an interactive map. Members and visitors can also find updates on association activities and its participation in the Partner Pferd trade fair in Leipzig. IPZV Mitteldeutschland provides contact options for enquiries and shares news about events and developments across the regional Icelandic horse community.
