IQI – Qualidade em Imagem e Protecção Radiológica is a Portuguese provider of inspection and verification services focused on reducing risk and protecting clients and employees. It supports organisations that use equipment or facilities involving ionising radiation, offering a national service delivered by specialised technicians.

Its services include periodic checks of radiology equipment and facilities in medical diagnostic imaging, dentistry and industrial radiology. IQI also performs periodic assessments in magnetic resonance imaging and ultrasound, and provides an annual Periodic Radiological Verification service. These checks cover radiological protection and safety conditions, as well as whether equipment and facilities meet applicable acceptability criteria.

The company is recognised by the Portuguese Environment Agency (APA) as a provider of radiological protection services under Decree-Law 108/2018. IQI is also accredited by IPAC for both medical and non-medical areas.
