IraSME

IraSME is a dynamic international network dedicated to fostering research and development (R&D) collaboration among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across multiple countries. Specifically designed to facilitate innovation, IraSME supports joint projects between SMEs located in member countries, which include Germany, Türkiye, Luxembourg, Austria, Brazil, and several Belgian regions, among others.

The initiative provides financial resources for the development of innovative products, processes, and technology-based services, with a streamlined application process that leverages existing national funding programs. Projects eligible for funding typically involve significant technical risks and exhibit strong market potential.

Through its matchmaking events and online platforms, IraSME assists businesses in finding the right partners, enhancing their chances for successful project execution. Founded with the backing of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, IraSME has successfully funded numerous projects, reinforcing its commitment to bridge the gap between research and practical innovation for SMEs in an increasingly competitive global market.
