The Ireland Fellows Programme is a prestigious initiative sponsored by the Government of Ireland aimed at nurturing future leaders from eligible African countries, specifically Nigeria and Ghana. This fully funded programme provides an exceptional opportunity for professionals with leadership potential to pursue master's level studies at Ireland's renowned universities. Covering all tuition fees, the programme also includes support for return international flights, accommodation, and a monthly stipend to manage living expenses while studying.

With a strong emphasis on building skills and fostering long-term connections between Ireland and the participants’ home countries, the Ireland Fellows Programme aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, further advocating for gender equality and inclusivity. The selection process involves multiple stages, ensuring that only the most promising candidates are chosen for the fellowship. Currently, applications for the 2027/28 cycle are closed, with shortlisted applicants receiving further instructions about the next steps. This initiative is not just an academic opportunity but a pathway to impactful leadership.
