About IRESEN
IRESEN, the Institute for Research in Solar Energy and New Energies, is a Moroccan research and innovation organization established in 2011. It supports the national energy strategy through market-oriented applied research and the development of green technologies, serving researchers, universities, entrepreneurs, startups, small and medium-sized businesses, and industrial partners. Its work spans the innovation process, from project funding and technical support to helping bring new products, processes, and services to market.
Through its funding agency, IRESEN regularly launches calls for collaborative research and innovation projects that connect scientific and industry partners and encourage technology transfer. It also develops and operates research and innovation platforms, including Green Energy Park, Green & Smart Building Park, and Green H2A. These facilities support work in areas such as solar power, energy storage, green hydrogen, biomass, water treatment, energy efficiency, smart grids, sustainable buildings, and mobility.
IRESEN’s services also include research infrastructure, expert resources, solar mapping tools, events, and initiatives that promote innovation.
