IRIS, the International Research and Innovation Society, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering future physicians and other healthcare professionals through education, research, and innovation. The organization connects medical scholars internationally and promotes collaboration to advance healthcare. Its work centers on three programs.

IRIS Scholarship provides funding for medical students with strong potential in research and innovation. IRIS Press is an open-access publishing platform that helps students develop skills in research methodology, peer review, and scientific writing. IRIS Trust provides a neutral nonprofit structure for managing unrestricted grants from industry to academic institutions, supporting student-led research and experiential learning while safeguarding academic integrity.

IRIS also shares educational resources, including webinars, research materials, and a guide to conducting literature reviews. Through scholarships, publishing opportunities, and industry-academic collaboration, the society aims to help students grow as researchers, educators, and clinicians.
