Irise Institute East Africa (IIEA) is a beacon of change, empowering women and girls in East Africa. Established in 2016, IIEA is committed to promoting menstrual health, sexual reproductive health, girls' education, and economic empowerment. Our mission is to create a world where women and girls can achieve their full potential unhindered by period stigma. Through diverse programs like menstrual health education, product distribution, and leadership development, we aim to build period-positive communities and advocate for policy changes.

In 2021, we provided flow cups to 700 girls in Jinja schools and engaged over 300 participants in a virtual conference. In 2020, we reached 4000 individuals with menstrual hygiene education and distributed reusable products to 1588 girls. With a focus on empowering women and fostering gender equality, IIEA continues to make strides in creating positive social change in East Africa.
