The Irish National Stud is a renowned brand that combines a rich history with a passion for the Irish Thoroughbred sector. The story begins in 1900 when Colonel William Hall Walker, a wealthy Scotsman from a famous brewing family, purchased the farms at Tully from the Fay family. As the most successful breeder of his time, Walker's horses achieved fame, including his victory in the 1909 Derby with Minoru.

Walker's vision extended beyond horse breeding, as he also designed the Japanese Gardens, a stunning blend of Eastern and Western cultures that symbolize the Life of Man. Today, visitors from around the world can explore these gardens, filled with trees, plants, flowers, lawns, rocks, and water, evoking emotions of birth, childhood, marriage, old age, and the afterlife.
