Irohana is a community-focused organization based in Osaka, offering welcoming opportunities for children and families to play, connect, and learn together. Active mainly in Osaka City and Yao, it places parent-child communication at the heart of its activities and aims to create comfortable spaces where families can enjoy time together.

Its learning programs include pre-baby-sign and baby-sign classes, children’s and adult sign-language classes, a children’s sign-language skills course, and sign-language interpreter training. Irohana also offers baby rhythm activities and children’s tea ceremony classes at selected venues. For creative play, families can join workshops featuring Kitpas drawing materials and Tublock educational building toys. Events and gatherings include sign-language activities, family clubs, picnics, and lunch meetups.

Classes and workshops take place at venues in Osaka’s Uehommachi and Tanimachi Rokuchome area and at several locations in Yao. Some activities are also designed for families to enjoy at home. Irohana is led by Kaori Tsuji, whose experience includes baby-sign instruction and sign language.
