Irské sestry

Irské sestry is an Irish dance group based in Jablonec nad Nisou, Czech Republic. Its dancers perform traditional Irish dance and Irish step, bringing Irish and Celtic culture to audiences through stage shows and public events. The group’s website features performance videos and an events calendar, and highlights its regular dance training as well as opportunities for dancers to develop their skills.

A key part of the group’s activities is the annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration in Jablonec nad Nisou. These themed evenings feature performances by Irské sestry and other dance groups, alongside live music and opportunities for attendees to learn Irish dances. The events are organised in cooperation with Kultura Jablonec and have explored themes including Irish mythology, Beltane and everyday life in Ireland. Irské sestry also promotes summer dance training for Irish dancers, including a summer school in Harrachov. Through performances, training and cultural events, the group shares Irish dance with local audiences and supports interest in Irish culture and dance.
