Isadora Blooms LLC provides sensory-first climate education professional development for K–12 educators in New York City and beyond. The organization helps teachers and school districts build climate resilience and adaptation skills through culturally grounded, story-driven workshops and hands-on toolkits. Its approach begins with connection rather than data and doom, making climate science more human, urgent, and actionable through sensory engagement, storytelling, and lived experience.
Isadora Blooms invites educators to slow down, use their senses, and lead climate conversations rooted in everyday experience. Its training topics include climate science education; senses and story; adaptations in the natural world; whose data counts; and green infrastructure close to home. The organization also offers therapeutic gardening as part of its services. These offerings are designed to help educators connect climate learning with students’ experiences and support hopeful, practical engagement with climate issues. Guided by the idea that “we grow what restores us,” Isadora Blooms brings together education, culture, and hands-on exploration to help schools develop meaningful ways to teach about climate and adaptation.
