About ISCEP
The International Society of Cardiovascular Disease Epidemiology and Prevention (ISCEP) is a global leader dedicated to combating cardiovascular diseases (CVD) through education and research. Established in 1966, ISCEP focuses on enhancing the expertise of professionals in epidemiological research, particularly in low and middle-income countries. The organization conducts annual Ten-Day Teaching Seminars that provide comprehensive training in cardiovascular epidemiology and prevention, having successfully educated nearly 2,000 fellows from over 100 nations.
ISCEP has also hosted six International Conferences on Preventive Cardiology, fostering collaboration among thousands of health practitioners, researchers, and policymakers to discuss significant advancements and strategies to alleviate the CVD epidemic. Despite notable progress, ISCEP acknowledges the ongoing challenges, such as disparities in CVD risk and access to healthcare.
