Our Credibility Principles help businesses and governments make informed choices about the systems they work with, pushing the schemes to further improve. About ISEAL

ISEAL Alliance is a registered charity that works to strengthen sustainability systems and accelerate positive change for people and the planet. It supports ambitious sustainability standards and similar systems by helping them improve their credibility, effectiveness and impact. Its work addresses issues including inequality and persistent poverty, human rights, climate and nature, and the role of sustainability systems in corporate commitments and policy.

ISEAL provides guidance and training for companies and sustainability systems, including resources on credible practice, sustainability claims, chain of custody and benchmarking. Its ISEAL Code of Good Practice and Credibility Principles set out approaches to building trustworthy systems. The organisation also fosters a learning community through membership, ISEAL Insight and events, including its Global Sustainability Symposium. Members can access shared expertise and opportunities to strengthen their work, while the ISEAL Innovations Fund supports projects exploring new approaches to sustainability challenges. Through research, resources, engagement and collaboration, ISEAL helps sustainability systems pursue more effective outcomes and contribute to global change.
