The Institute for a Sustainable Future (ISF) is a not-for-profit organization based in Duluth, MN, dedicated to promoting ecological health through advocacy, research, consultation, and education. Their mission is to support and improve sustainability by building, supporting, and replicating successful models. ISF believes in fostering relationships and collaboration within their ecological approach, recognizing the importance of science and the arts in creating a healthy, sustainable world.

ISF focuses on systems thinking and interconnectedness, recognizing that many of the challenges we face today stem from outdated linear thinking. By adopting a systems mindset, ISF aims to shift towards valuing relationships, collaboration, and quality over quantity. They tackle issues such as safer chemical policies and food systems to enhance the health of individuals, workers, the environment, and the community as a whole.

The executive director of ISF, Jamie Harvie, is nationally recognized for his extensive experience in health, community, environment, and healthcare, and has been interviewed by major media outlets. For more information and to get involved, visit their website at www. isfusa.
