About Ishara Art Foundation
Ishara Art Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Dubai that is dedicated to showcasing contemporary art from South Asia. Founded in 2019, their mission is to support emerging and established artists who contribute to critical dialogue and explore global connections through their work. With a research-led approach, the foundation presents exhibitions, both onsite and online, as well as various programs, education initiatives, and collaborations in the UAE and internationally.
Noteworthy past exhibitions include Notations on Time, which staged a dialogue between different artistic generations, highlighting entanglements between the past, present, and future. They also hosted Alt+Shift+Studio: Fractured Grids, a series of online conversations and video tours exploring the intersection of infrastructures and ideas in contemporary artistic practice. Located at A3, Alserkal Avenue, Street 17, Al Quoz 1, Dubai, UAE, the Ishara Art Foundation is open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Saturday.
