About ISHTM-AIIMS EQAP
AIIMS ISHTM is a prestigious external quality assurance program accredited by NABL, aligning with the ISO/IEC 17043:2023 standard, and is operated by the Department of Hematology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi. Established in 2003, ISHTM-AIIMS-EQAP has evolved to offer proficiency testing for essential hematological assessments, including Complete Blood Count (CBC), Red Cell Indices, Reticulocyte Count, and Peripheral Smear analysis. With more than 4,500 laboratories currently enrolled, the program plays a critical role in enhancing the quality and reliability of laboratory test results across India.
