The SENAI Institute of Innovation for Information and Communication Technologies (ISI-TICs) conducts applied research and develops innovation projects to strengthen the competitiveness of industry through software-centered technologies. Based in Recife’s Porto Digital, a nationally recognized technology hub, it is part of the SENAI Institutes of Innovation network, which connects academic expertise with the needs of Brazil’s industrial businesses. Within this network, ISI-TICs specializes in software-based solutions.

The institute works with companies on reliable software for digitizing industrial processes and activities, as well as on physical-digital products and services related to production. Its capabilities include designing, developing, and operating software platforms for industrial production and value chains; applying computational intelligence to improve operations and industrial management; and using production data to support analysis for small and medium-sized manufacturers and industrial sectors. ISI-TICs also offers agile and secure approaches to engineering software solutions. Through research, development, and collaboration with industry and innovation partners, it helps organizations explore and implement technology-driven improvements.
