Iskierkowo

Iskierkowo is a network of free therapeutic preschools in Poland, with locations in Wieliczka, Gdów, Wolbrom and Kraków. It supports children aged 2.5 to 8 who have special educational needs or require individual developmental support. Its approach combines preschool education with tailored therapy, delivered by a team of educators, therapists, caregivers and other specialists in a caring, inclusive environment.

Each child receives an individual educational and therapeutic program informed by assessment and ongoing observation. Services include speech and communication support, sensory integration, physiotherapy and movement activities, hand therapy, music therapy, social skills training, therapeutic art, gardening therapy and dog-assisted therapy. The preschools also offer small-group care, with activities adapted to children’s needs and abilities. Some therapeutic programs are available to children who do not attend an Iskierkowo preschool.

Iskierkowo emphasizes safety, acceptance and personal development, helping children build skills and confidence at their own pace. The educational and therapeutic activities are free for families, supported through European funds and local governments.
