Integrated Services of Kalamazoo (ISK) is a community-based organization supporting youth, families, and adults affected by mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual or developmental disabilities. For more than 30 years, it has worked with individuals, families, peers, staff, providers, and community partners to connect people with programs and resources that support wellbeing and independence. ISK describes its approach as culturally sensitive and trauma-informed, with a focus on building on each person’s strengths, hopes, and goals.
ISK offers youth and family services designed in partnership with young people and their families, reflecting their needs, beliefs, strengths, and cultures. Adult services include access and eligibility support for people experiencing mental health, developmental, emotional, or substance use challenges, along with connections to appropriate services and community referrals. The organization also provides a Behavioral Health Urgent Care and Access Center, including round-the-clock crisis support, and offers suicide prevention training and resources. Additional services include provider search and community resource navigation.
