About International School of Latvia
The International School of Latvia (ISL) is an independent, coeducational, non-profit, college preparatory day school founded in 1994. With a diverse faculty from countries around the world, including Australia, Canada, France, India, Latvia, and the United States, ISL offers a truly international educational experience. The school follows the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework, offering all three IB programs: the Primary Years Program (PYP) for Preschool 2 to Grade 5, the Middle Years Program (MYP) for Grade 6 to 10, and the Diploma Program (DP) for Grades 11 to 12.
Students in Grades 9 to 12 have the option to pursue the IB Diploma or the ISL Diploma, both of which provide a strong foundation for college preparation. ISL's student-teacher ratio of 6 to 1 ensures personalized attention, with an average class size of 17 students. The school welcomes children of all nationalities from 2 to 18 years old.
