Island Lab is a coastal resilience research and development organization that helps communities understand and steward the interconnected systems shaping their futures. Working with ports, cities, tribes, and regional networks, it focuses on the underwater parts of the commons—places that are difficult to monitor and changing rapidly. Its work spans coastal communities from Pollica in southern Italy to the Salish Sea.
