Island Transfers

Island Transfers is the sole airport transfer provider on St Mary’s in the Isles of Scilly, serving passengers arriving on Skybus and Penzance Helicopters flights. Launched in autumn 2022, the business builds on owner Delwin Thompson’s more than 25 years of experience providing transfers on the islands. Its team meets every flight, offers a friendly welcome and helps passengers with their luggage. Transfers take visitors to accommodation anywhere on St Mary’s, or to St Mary’s Quay for onward boat connections to Tresco, St Martin’s, St Agnes and Bryher.

The company’s modern minibus fleet is selected for comfort, safety and accessibility. Vehicles include a six-passenger, fully electric Vauxhall Vivaro and three Citroen Relay minibuses that carry up to 13 passengers with luggage. All vehicles have height-adjustable seat belts, and the larger minibuses feature accessibility aids such as retractable steps and grab handles. Arrival transfers do not need to be booked in advance, but departure pickups must be arranged.
