About Itä-Suomen Liikuntaopisto
ISLO (Itä-Suomen liikuntaopisto) is a regional education center for sports located in Joensuu, Finland. Established in 1979, ISLO's main mission is to provide professional training in the field of sports and physical education, as well as promote and develop sports and related services in collaboration with sports clubs and other stakeholders. Situated in the heart of Mehtimäki, a unique sports and exercise environment, ISLO benefits from its central location within a network of sports facilities.
In addition to offering a wide range of professional courses and qualifications in sports, ISLO provides various services including physiotherapy, massage, fitness testing, and group exercise sessions for individuals, companies, and organizations. With a focus on continuous improvement, ISLO aims to be the functional hub of Mehtimäki, offering comprehensive services and opportunities for sports and physical activities
