ISO (Interstedelijk Studenten Overleg) is the largest nationwide student organization in the Netherlands, representing the general interests of over 800,000 students at universities and colleges. Comprised of a dedicated team of twenty students, including five full-time board members and fifteen part-time staff, ISO is a flexible organization with a wealth of creative and expert insights. They advocate for equal opportunities in education, improving the financial position of students, and enhancing the quality of education, among other issues.

ISO collaborates with over a hundred different student organizations, developing perspectives and plans with their student base. They also form a covenant with thirteen student unions, ensuring a diverse representation of students in politics. With their extensive network, ISO engages in conversations with national partners such as the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science, political parties, and university and college associations.

To provide support and information, ISO offers resources like a student helpdesk, a student healthcare collective, and a platform to report online education issues. Their dedication to student advocacy makes ISO a vital organization in the student community
