Isopod Paradise

Isopod Paradise is a family-owned isopod breeder based in Escondido, California. The business grew from a way to support the family’s dart-frog collection into a passion for breeding and raising isopods. Its team brings more than 40 years of combined animal husbandry experience and cultivates over 40 species, all captive-bred. Isopods are sold only when thriving.

The selection includes beginner-friendly species suited to cleanup crews, feeders, or pets, as well as more specialized options. Armadillidium are described as hardy and forgiving, while Cubaris generally require more careful humidity management and are kept primarily as display pets. The rotating range also includes Porcellio, Porcellionides, and dwarf species.

Isopod Paradise sells in person at reptile expos and trade events throughout Southern California. For customers in and around San Diego, it also offers free local pickup and short-radius delivery in Escondido and nearby cities, arranged by contacting the business. The brand shares new arrivals, availability, and care tips on Instagram and Facebook, and welcomes questions from prospective keepers.
