IsrALS

IsrALS is an Israeli nonprofit dedicated to advancing research into amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and supporting people living with the disease and their families. The organization works to raise the profile of ALS among research institutes in Israel and to encourage scientific investigation of a condition that remains without a cure. It also coordinates professional assistance and emotional support for approximately 700 patients and their families across the country.

IsrALS’s support services are designed to help families navigate medical, practical, and emotional challenges and promote the best possible quality of life. Its programs include social work, dedicated ALS clinics, guidance for newly diagnosed people, communication-access services, physiotherapy, speech and language support, nutritional advice, voice preservation, transportation, and community support for independent living. The organization also offers information resources, including educational booklets, articles, and updates through its blog, as well as meetings and events. Through research funding, clinical study information, awareness initiatives, and donations, IsrALS seeks to strengthen support for the ALS community and contribute to progress toward effective treatment.
