İstanbul Barosu

Istanbul Bar Association is the professional organization serving lawyers in Istanbul, Türkiye. Its work focuses on supporting the legal profession, protecting lawyers’ rights and promoting access to justice and the rule of law. The association represents its members in public and legal matters, follows significant court cases, and issues statements on issues such as freedom of expression, lawyer safety and accountability in disaster-related prosecutions.

For members, the association provides administrative resources and services, including membership procedures, professional documents, a lawyer directory, fee schedules and dues-related functions. Its website also offers practical tools and information for legal work, such as case-related assistance, courthouse resources, calculations and publications. The Istanbul Bar Association also supports continuing education and research through its Education, Research and Practice Center, bringing together BaroAkademi, a law library and a member social space.
