The Irish Travel Agents Association (ITAA) is the leading organization representing Ireland's Travel Agents and Tour Operators. With a history dating back to 1971, the ITAA brings together approximately 100 member companies, encompassing 140 branches across towns and cities in the Republic of Ireland. As a company limited by guarantee, the ITAA operates under the governance of an annual general meeting (AGM), where each member has an equal voice.

The AGM elects a board consisting of a President, Treasurer, and eight other members from within the Association's membership. The day-to-day operations of the ITAA are overseen by an Executive Team led by the Chief Executive. The Association organizes various national and regional members' meetings, along with hosting a significant annual conference.

Additionally, the ITAA fosters on-line networking through electronic newsletters, discussion forums, and the members' area of their website. The ITAA encompasses nearly 100 Travel Agent companies and represents over 140 retail outlets. They also have a program for suppliers called the Affiliate Partner Programme, allowing them to engage with the ITAA.
