About The Italian Chef
The Italian Chef is a brand dedicated to bringing you the authentic flavors of Italian cuisine. Hi, I’m Phil, the founder of The Italian Chef, and I started this website in 1999 to keep my father's recipes alive after he retired from the restaurant business. As a former waiter in my father’s restaurant, I didn't have much cooking experience initially.
But over the years, I've honed my skills and learned the recipes and techniques of an Italian Chef. At The Italian Chef, you'll find a wide range of delicious recipes that have been adapted for the home cook. From pasta dishes and appetizers to Italian grill specialties and desserts, we have something to satisfy every craving.
We also feature categories like bacon, baking, Sunday dinner, charcuterie, and more. Although my father is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in the kitchen, and I continue to apply his principles and passion for cooking and hospitality.
