Iteda

ITeDA, the Institute of Technologies in Detection and Astroparticles, is an Argentine research institute focused on developing technologies for cosmology and astroparticle physics. It contributes to major international collaborations and supports scientific research through projects including the Pierre Auger Observatory and AMIGA, the QUBIC Observatory, HERON, and ANDES. The institute also works to develop highly qualified researchers through partnerships with universities in Argentina and abroad.

ITeDA offers postgraduate study opportunities through double-degree doctoral programs in Astrophysics and in Applied Sciences and Engineering, run with the National University of San Martín (UNSAM) and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany. Students undertake part of their studies in Argentina and part in Germany, connecting with researchers and participating in advanced scientific projects. The institute also provides courses and organizes science outreach activities, including educational events related to the Pierre Auger Observatory. With locations in San Martín, Buenos Aires Province, and Godoy Cruz, Mendoza, ITeDA brings together research, technology development, education, and public engagement in the study of the universe and cosmic particles.
