ITF Enhancing Human Security (ITF) is a humanitarian, non-profit organization that was established by the Government of the Republic of Slovenia in March 1998. Initially named the International Trust Fund for Demining and Mine Victims Assistance, its primary objective was to assist Bosnia and Herzegovina in implementing the peace agreement and provide support for post-conflict rehabilitation.

Since its inception, ITF has expanded its mission to enhance safety and aid in the recovery and development of countries affected by conflict and mine-related hazards. This organization has formed strong partnerships, adopted a regional approach, and adheres to the principles of transparency and accountability.

ITF's vision is to create a world free from threats to peace and security, ensuring the well-being, prosperity, and dignity of individuals and communities. The mission of ITF is to strengthen human security and build resilient communities by reducing risks through compassion, innovation, transparency, and partnerships.

ITF supports various projects and programs through fundraising in areas such as landmine and explosive remnants of war (ERW) clearance, risk education, victim assistance, capacity building, physical security and stockpile management, destruction of surplus weapons and ammunition, and advocacy for mine/ERW impact awareness and disability rights.

ITF's work has been crucial in enhancing safety and aiding in the recovery and development of conflict-affected regions.
