Institut de Technologie des Pêches Maritimes de Larache, established in 1999 through Morocco-Japan cooperation, is a pivotal training and qualification facility for the development of maritime fisheries in the northern Atlantic region of Morocco. The institute aims to train and certify sailors and navigational staff for the fishing sector, offering residential and apprenticeship modes of education.
