About IVOC for Youth
IVOC is a brand that aims to empower young adults and engage marginalized youth through non-traditional methods. Their vision is to create a world where youth can experience equitable opportunity for healthy, spiritual, mental, and physical growth with the support of caring adults. IVOC provides therapeutic services that foster personal empowerment through the creation of music and multimedia projects.
By bringing professional music and videography equipment to schools and programs throughout Central Massachusetts, IVOC eliminates barriers and provides equitable resources for marginalized youth. Their approach encourages these youth to partner with IVOC in the therapeutic process of self-expression, which proves to be effective in engaging adolescents who struggle with traditional modes of communication. In addition to esteem-building and healthy coping skills, IVOC participants also develop important life and vocational skills by collaborating on projects from planning to completion.
