About The Ivors Academy
The Ivors Academy, formerly known as BASCA, is a dynamic and diverse collective of talented music creators. As the UK's independent professional association for music creators, we are passionate about championing the rights and craft of songwriters and composers across all genres. Whether you create songs, symphonies, or sync music, we represent and support you.
As a self-funded organization, we rely on the support of our members and partners to carry out our mission. We offer a range of membership options, from standard to professional and under 25, providing access to campaigns, events, networks, and awards that nurture and celebrate our members' talents. With over 70 years of history, The Ivors Academy has evolved alongside the rapidly transforming music industry.
We embrace inclusivity and welcome music creators from all genres and disciplines. Join us as we continue to represent, support, and celebrate the vibrant and ever-evolving world of music creation. Be a part of The Ivors Academy
