About IxDA Santiago
IxDA Santiago is the local chapter of the Interaction Design Association for Santiago de Chile and has been functioning since June 2011. As the local chapter, they have been connecting communities, professionals, and academics in the field of user experience and interaction design since 2011. IxDA Santiago is part of the larger Interaction Design Association (IxDA), a global organization founded in 2003 with over 70,000 members in around 170 local chapters, all focused on interaction design and UX.
They were the organizers of the 8th edition of the Interaction South America in November 2016. IxDA Santiago welcomes students, academics, and professionals with a strong interest in knowledge exchange and the promotion of their discipline. They have a rich history in the UX field in Chile and strive to fulfill their mission autonomously and sustainably.
