Judo Izegem is a vibrant judo club dedicated to introducing children to the sport of judo in a fun and engaging way. The club offers specialized programs for young children, including kleuterjudo sessions aimed at kids born in 2016 or 2017, which emphasize movement, falling techniques, and self-control through playful exercises. Starting September 5, these sessions will be held every Sunday from 10:30 to 11:30 AM, featuring four free trial lessons to encourage participation.
Judo Izegem also hosts initiation days, allowing newcomers to explore the sport with four complimentary training sessions. Open to all children aged 6 to 12, training takes place weekly. Participants can rent a judogi, available at competitive prices, along with mandatory insurance and club membership.
The dojo is conveniently located in the Izegem swimming pool, and ample parking is provided. With a strong focus on traditional judo values and techniques, Judo Izegem prepares children for a lifelong appreciation of martial arts.
