The Jozenji Street Jazz Festival is a music and community event organized by the Jozenji Street Jazz Festival Association in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture. Established in 1991, the festival brings live performances to the city and invites audiences to enjoy street jazz and related programming. The association shares information about its history, past events, photographs, and current festival news through its website.
Its activities extend beyond the main festival, with announcements for special projects and events such as the Jozenji Street Jazz Caravan. The organization also welcomes people who want to contribute as volunteers or provide performance support for activities outside the festival. Supporters can join the Club STREETJAZZ fan club, make donations, or offer corporate sponsorship.
The association operates an official online store featuring festival goods and promotes a dedicated festival card. Based in Aoba Ward, Sendai, it provides information and contact services during weekday business hours. Through events, participation opportunities, and community support, the association works to sustain and share the festival’s street-jazz culture
