JA Tsuruoka is a cooperative union in Tsuruoka City, committed to enhancing the income and livelihood of its members while contributing to the local community's development. Known for its delicious rice, melons, and adzuki beans, the region in Yamagata Prefecture boasts quality agricultural produce. Founded in 1972 through the merger of 12 local cooperatives, JA Tsuruoka focuses on rice cultivation in the fertile Shonai Plain, alongside promoting horticultural products like Andes melons and popular adzuki beans.
