Jabs Gym

Jabs Gym is a Detroit fitness brand based in the city’s Eastern Market district, offering group training for people at a range of fitness levels, from first-time participants to experienced athletes. Founded by boxers and elite athletes, the gym combines boxing expertise with a broad selection of high-energy workouts. Its classes include boxing, kickboxing, crosstraining, high-intensity interval training, bootcamp, circuit training, weight training, and yoga. Boxing sessions introduce participants to the fundamentals of the sport while delivering a vigorous workout; no prior experience is required. Crosstraining blends full-body exercises and varied equipment to support different fitness goals.

Jabs Gym’s Eastern Market facility opened in 2015 and features two floors and two fitness classrooms, with punching bags, weights, kettlebells, sleds, indoor turf, ropes, and other training equipment. Membership includes access to more than 40 classes per week, and the gym offers showers, changing areas, and free parking. Its team includes professional boxers, former NFL players, trainers, yoga teachers, and nutritionists.
