About Jachter Wines
Jachter Vineyard LLC, located in the picturesque Chehalem Mountains AVA of Oregon’s Willamette Valley, is a burgeoning winery founded by Dave Jachter, a seasoned businessman turned winemaker. With over 27 years in the automotive industry, Dave harnessed his passion for wine—fueled by experiences from travels in renowned wine regions across France, Italy, and California. After completing viticulture courses at UC Davis, he established his vineyard on 120 acres, producing high-quality wines such as Chardonnay, Rosé, and Pinot Noir.
In partnership with talented winemaker Jared Etzel, known for his expertise in organic and biodynamic farming, Jachter Vineyard aims to create soulful wines that reflect their unique terroir. The vineyard is also committed to community service, pledging to donate a significant portion of profits to local initiatives. With plans for a state-of-the-art winery and tasting room set to open in Summer 2024, Jachter Vineyard invites you to share in their journey and enjoyment of fine Oregon wines.
