About JackandJillCF
The Jack and Jill Children's Foundation, established in 1997 by Jonathan Irwin and Mary Ann O’Brien in memory of their son Jack, is dedicated to providing vital support to families of children with complex medical needs. Focusing on children’s palliative care, the foundation has created a unique model of home-centered care that has already supported over 3,000 families across Ireland. The foundation’s services, known as The Gift of Time, offer parents the much-needed relief from the demanding responsibilities of caregiving.
This includes nursing support, sibling care, and a comprehensive family resource center designed to address both emotional and practical needs. The Jack and Jill Foundation also actively engages with the community through fundraising events, corporate partnerships, and various donation initiatives, ensuring that their reach continues to grow. By fostering a supportive environment, the foundation aims to alleviate the isolation faced by families while honoring Jack's enduring legacy of love and care.
