Restaurant Jacobi is a fine-dining restaurant in the heart of Freiburg’s Old Town, where the cuisine celebrates the diversity of the surrounding region and its seasons. Founded in 2022, the restaurant was brought together by a young, motivated team under the direction of Christoph Kaiser, united by a passion for hospitality and Southern Baden.

Jacobi’s modern, seasonally inspired tasting menu features seven to nine courses made with carefully selected regional ingredients. The restaurant works with local farms and producers who share a strong respect for nature and the environment, allowing fresh, high-quality products to shape the experience. Menus may change daily according to seasonal availability. The kitchen team transforms these ingredients with creativity and attention to detail, while the front-of-house team welcomes guests and helps them choose suitable wines.
