Jacobina Oele

Jacobina Oele is a Dutch artist, educator, coach, speaker and author whose work explores memory, identity and emotion. Born in Wilhelminadorp and trained at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague, she draws inspiration from her Zeeland roots, maritime heritage, traditional dress, tropical influences and international experience. Her layered paintings combine architectural forms, imagined landscapes and personal or shared memories, developing through an intuitive process that balances control with spontaneity. Oele presents her work through online galleries and exhibitions, and also creates murals.

Alongside her art practice, Jacobina offers drawing instruction for beginners and developing artists. Her courses include color-pencil foundations, observational drawing and pen-and-ink techniques, with structured lessons designed to build confidence and practical skills. She provides personal art coaching in small groups or one-to-one, with online guidance available, and offers lectures, museum workshops and guided tours in Amsterdam and Zeeland. Her services also include Akashic Records.
