The Jaffa Institute is a private nonprofit organization that is dedicated to assisting severely disadvantaged children and their families living in impoverished neighborhoods in Israel. Established in 1982, their programs aim to provide educational, nutritional, therapeutic, and social enrichment to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty. Operating in some of the most poverty-stricken areas in Israel, where unemployment and welfare services are prevalent, the Jaffa Institute is committed to filling the educational gaps and supporting vulnerable communities.

With the help of approximately 6,000 dedicated local and international volunteers, they reach over 8,900 individuals through 40 holistic programs each year. Recognized for their impact, the Jaffa Institute has received the Israeli Ministry of Education's top prize for academic excellence and has a Seal of Effectiveness from Midot, a nonprofit monitoring association.
