The BJV-Kreisgruppe Obernburg is a local association of hunters in the Obernburg region and part of the Bavarian Hunting Association (BJV). Its work brings together hunting, wildlife care, nature education and the preservation of hunting traditions. The group represents its members locally and cooperates with public authorities and other conservation organizations.

Its activities include a hunting school and courses, shooting practice, hunting-dog training and support for tracking teams. Members can also take part in the Young Hunters community, the hunting-horn band, local hunting circles and social events. The association provides information about insurance and offers opportunities to learn about local wildlife and nature, including activities that introduce children to the natural world.

Through training, events and community involvement, the BJV-Kreisgruppe Obernburg supports hunters at different stages of experience while promoting responsible stewardship of wildlife and habitats. Its calendar includes meetings, annual game reviews, public information events and gatherings celebrating hunting culture, giving members and interested visitors ways to connect with the region’s hunting and nature community.
