Jagdschule Emsland is a professional hunting education provider based in Aschendorf, near the Draiberg nature reserve. Established in 1986, it describes itself as Germany’s oldest and largest hunting school and trains aspiring hunters from across the country. Its experienced instructors are professionally employed gamekeepers, who deliver comprehensive theoretical and practical training in a friendly, supportive setting. Courses are designed for a wide range of learners, from the minimum age of 15 and a half through to older adults.

The school offers block courses for beginners, intensive courses for those repeating the hunter’s examination or studying remotely, and holiday courses tailored to school students. Participants can also choose from specialist seminars to deepen their knowledge after obtaining a hunting licence. Additional services include accommodation with laundry facilities, course and examination guidance, and individual consultations. The school highlights modern teaching alongside established traditions, transparent course fees, and the option to repeat its services at no cost or receive a refund if a student does not pass the examination.
