Jagdschule & Falknerei Schünemann is a private hunting school based in Nidda, in the Wetterau region of Hesse, serving students in Hesse and Baden-Württemberg. Its goal is to prepare practical, confident hunters through small-group teaching, hands-on learning in nearby training grounds, and support from experienced instructors, including educators, biologists, professional hunters, and firearms specialists.

The school offers preparation for the hunting licence and falconry examinations, with weekend, intensive, holiday, refresher, and exclusive course options. Training combines 13 days of in-person instruction with online learning and self-study, and covers hunting knowledge, safe firearm handling, and shooting practice. Additional courses include training for competent persons, trichina sample collection, and trapping.

Beyond instruction, Schünemann provides ongoing guidance, opportunities to gain early hunting experience in its training grounds, and help finding a first hunting opportunity. Its associated firearms business sells weapons and lets customers try them during shooting sessions. The organisation also offers locally sourced wild game from the Vogelsberg region and hosts an annual hunters’ festival.
