Jake Robbins Vintage Engineering is a motorcycle engineering business specialising in vintage and classic bikes. Led by Jake Robbins, a girder fork repair and restoration specialist, the company draws on more than 35 years of experience in girder fork and motorcycle frame work. Its services include girder fork repairs, restoration and custom Retro Forks, as well as motorcycle frame repairs, straightening and alignment checks using Motoliner equipment. The workshop also undertakes TIG welding, general fabrication, bike builds and complete restorations.
The business began with Jake’s work on his own motorcycles and grew from a local engineering company focused on classic motorcycles. After moving to a larger industrial workshop in 2010, it expanded its capabilities and took on larger projects, including production runs of castle forks and the development of Retro Forks. Jake works alongside his eldest son, William, and together they have built girder forks and complete motorcycles for museums, restorers, collectors and enthusiasts.
